Malcolm "Buster" W. Brown '88
Malcolm Brown is Market Leader/SVP Wealth Advisor for Seacoast Bank in Miami-Dade County. He is responsible for overseeing the Bank’s wealth advisory and family office business for Seacoast Wealth Management in Miami. Mr. Brown has over 31 years of experience in investment management and private wealth advisory for High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals, families and businesses. Prior to joining Seacoast Bank Mr. Brown was VP Portfolio Manager with City National Bank of Florida. He began his career at Merrill Lynch and subsequently advanced his career as a portfolio manager for Fiduciary Trust International and First Horizon Bank. Mr. Brown and his wife Cristina Pardo (FIU ’88) founded and operate Happy Spaces, a charitable organization that provides home makeovers and “happy spaces” for children facing chronic or life-threatening illnesses who return home after long term hospital stays. He also has been involved with other community organizations including Feeding South Florida, United Way, Shriners Hospital and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of South Florida. Mr. Brown graduated from Florida International University with a major in Finance and International Business (’88).
